Aquatech’s Executive Chairman, Venkee Sharma, recently joined Joe Lowry on The Global Lithium Podcast to discuss Aquatech’s role in the evolving lithium industry.
During the conversation, Venkee highlighted Aquatech’s decade-long transition into lithium and critical minerals, applying its proven water treatment technologies and process expertise to support customers across the entire lithium flowsheet.
Today, Aquatech has 100,000 tons of lithium projects in execution, construction, or operation and continues to expand its capabilities in the sector, including the recent acquisition of Koch’s Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) business.
Sharma explains, “We have about a hundred thousand tons of lithium either in execution, construction or operation at this point. And it's a thrill over the last decade as we made the transition into lithium and critical minerals for Aquatech to be able to use its technologies and apply many of them.”
At Aquatech, we understand the challenges impacting the industry today. Aquatech is helping to address key bottlenecks through our PEARL™platform, which provides a complete approach across the lithium flowsheet.
Sharma shared, “We have a critical minerals business that has its own business development, its own PEARL™ platform, and process development around the full flowsheet. No matter which customer or customer group we're talking about, CapEx today is the bottleneck.”
