The company is focused on producing battery-quality lithium carbonate to support the growing North American electric vehicle and energy storage supply chains. Listed on both the NYSE and TSX under the ticker LAC, Lithium Americas is developing Thacker Pass as a strategically important domestic source of critical minerals, helping strengthen regional supply chain security and reduce reliance on imported lithium. Phase 1 of the project is designed to produce 40,000 tonnes per year of battery-quality lithium carbonate, supporting the increasing demand for electrification and advanced battery manufacturing across North America.
