HEVAP™ High Efficiency Evaporation

Reliability is vital for Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) operations. At Aquatech, we have extensive experience designing ZLD plants which has led to the development of our patented HEVAP™ High Efficiency Evaporation technology. HEVAP is a patented high efficiency evaporation process for the Oil Sands SAGD water treatment. HEVAP pre-conditions the feed water by incorporating a softening step combined with additional conditioning of the feed water prior to treatment by the evaporators. This process provides the evaporators with essentially a scale free environment in which to operate. As a result, this allows evaporators to be more efficient with less downtime and longer runs in between evaporator cleanings.
